Sunday 31st October - Softness under Saddle        

What we cover will include, Respect, softening techniques on the ground, some desensitisation, how to improve our horse's understanding of the bit and legs (on the ground and then under saddle).

How to remove our horses resistance to our legs and the bit.Helping our horse to be soft and responsive not reactive.

How to correct our horses errors without micro management.Ensuring that it is the horse's responsibility to maintain a pace, direction etc.

An introduction to self-carriage and collection.

ow to achieve and maintain rhythm relaxation and length of stride.

Ian is very hands on and does lots of demonstrations and helps with problems as they arise.

Ian works with horses from all disciplines and we will see improvement in them over the weekend.

The training style is not rigid and is more about adding tools to peoples horsemanship tool boxes.We also have an emphasis on safety and fun.
